Symponia – the Compassion Project

Symponia – The Compassion Project

“Symponia” means “compassion” in Greek.

We are called to be salt and light, compassionate people who love others as we wish to be loved.

Symponia: The Compassion Project seeks to inspire, motivate, and create a more compassionate, humane way of living. Through Symponia, we learn new ways of thinking, living, and being that embrace compassion and gentleness as a source of strength.

In a world gone mad with greed, gluttony, avarice, and pride, isn’t it time we embrace the little virtues? Kindness, patience, humility and gentle optimism go a long way towards healing this broken world.

Through Symponia, author Jeanne Grunert explores the Salesian “Little Virtues” and the many opportunities we all have to practice them in our daily lives. Let’s encourage, motivate, and inspire one another to compassion and kindness.
